We offer a beautiful apartment a central and unique location in Amsterdam. The apartment is next to the most famous square of Amsterdam, Leideseplein.

Amsterdam Leidse BB:
The Amsterdam Leidse BB is centrally located, overlooking Lange Leidse Dwarsstraat and just seconds walk to Leidesplein Square, one of Amsterdam's main squares. This is an amazing starting point for sightseeing and always a great spot for tourists, within a few minutes' walk to most of the major attractions, restaurants, and night-life.

No breakfast
But you can make your own tea and coffee at any time.

From this city break apartment you have an amazing view of the street life below: Lange Leidse Dwarsstraat is a great street to just sit and watch the world go by. The street is full of bars, take-away, restaurants, around 50-100 places to eat within minutes walk from the apartments, as well as coffee shops and more.

Upon arrival you will be asked to pay the full amount for the whole duration of your stay Final Payments are in Cash only.

We do not accept group bookings of 5 people or more.

The Apartment:
The Leidse Apartment has been recently renovated;
Please note that guests that make a booking for 3 persons will be allocated the studio on the 4th floor. The studio has all the amenities as the other apartment.

The Leidse Apartment is furnished with modern amenities to provide the comforts of home. The living-room has a TV and a DVD, settee and chairs and a dining table with chairs. The settee is also a double sofa-bed. The kitchen is fully equipped and ideal to cook meals, a private toilet with warm shower and bath make the apartment and studio complete.

The Location:
The Leidse BB overlooks Lange Leidse Dwarsstraat and is located less than one minute walk from the main square, Leidseplein Square. This area is full of things to do and see, like street artists, English speaking cinemas, is the main nightlife and entertainment area in Amsterdam, with a great variety of restaurants, pubs, discos, coffee shops, the Amsterdam Casino, movie theaters, all within seconds walk from your apartment.

Also within a short walk from the apartment are the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum. Being so central, all major tourist attractions are close by and the Canal District is just one minute away.

Here you are in one of the most famous streets in Amsterdam with lots of shops, clubs, bars, restaurants and historic buildings. Discover the city by bike, the local Leidse BB staff can help you get around the city and point out the best spots for lunch, shopping or clubbing.

A Euro 100 per key damage deposit is required; this is refunded when the key is returned.

Accommodation Information

The two-room-apartments have been recently renovated and have a living room facing the street and a separate quiet bedroom at the rear

The apartment has 1 bedroom and 1 big living room so it's comfortable for 2 or 4 guests.
These include cable TV/DVD, kitchen for self-catering, private toilet with warm shower and bath, etc.

Please note that guests that make a booking for 3 people will be allocated the studio on the 4th floor. The studio has all the amenities as the other apartments.

Those who stay with us should be aware that the apartment is situated in a very lively street. On weekends and busy days it is possible that you hear more sounds from outside than usual. We provide free earplugs for the guests that are difficult sleepers or sensitive to sounds. This way you can sleep peacefully and still stay in one of the best parts of Amsterdam!

Terms and Conditions:
1. Pets and organizing parties are forbidden.
2. It is not allowed to stay with more persons then mentioned in the bookings confirmation.
3. Please behave like 'gentlemen' and don't disturb the neighbor's! Don't play loud music, scream and shout, etc.
4. If the Renter violates the above terms, the stay can be cancelled immediately without restitution of the rent.
5. The Property Manager is allowed to enter the apartment at any time.
6. A copy off all passports will be made during check-in.
7. The guests will receive the apartment in a clean and proper condition and are expected to return it in the same condition.
8. We do not accept group bookings of 5 people or more.
9. We have an age restriction, only 18 to 45 year olds permitted
10. Cancellation must occur 72hours before the check-in date.
11. On arrival it is not possible to cancel and the whole amount must be paid.

The deposit is paid online through hostelworld.com and the balance is paid on arrival. We accept cash payment only on arrival.

Getting there:

To collect the keys and pay the bill and receive directions to your apartment you must go to Hostel Cosmos Amsterdam to collect your apartment keys.

The Directions:
From the airport take a train to Central Station:

You get out of the station. Walk over to the Victoria Hotel. When you are facing the hotel, you turn right and go into the second street on the left: Martelaars Gracht (street name). Keep walking down Martelaarsgracht into the Nieuwezijds voorburgwal. You now pass 8 alley's (small streets) on you left hand you will see the: Nieuwe Nieuwstraat, enter this alley, you are in the Nieuwe Nieuwstraat, we are at number 17 (Hostel Cosmos). Here you can get the keys, pay the bill, deposit and directions to our apartments.

By tram (metro) A single ticket costs you € 2.60

When you get to CS, you walk outside the station and you will find trams. The following trams will take you straight to the hostel: tramline 1, 2, 5, 13 and 17.

The stop is called ` Nieuwezijds Kolk' you have to cross the street and walk toward Hotel Convent the Nieuwe Nieuwstraat is between Hotel Convent and Japanese Restaurant Kobe, we are Nieuwe Nieuwstraat 17. Here you can get the keys and directions to our apartments.

Trains between Schiphol and Central Station depart about every 10 minutes between 6am and 1am, and once every hour between 1am and 6am.
A one way ticket will cost you € 3.20 from a vending machine, you will need some coins though.

Trains to Amsterdam Central Station generally depart from platform 1 or 2.
