South Korea offers a myriad of adventures from its bustling capital, to the mountainous countryside and peaceful coasts. Seoul is fast becoming an important Asian capital attracting tourists to its shopping, restaurants and art galleries concentrated mainly in the districts of Gangnam and Apgujeong. Temple-hopping is also a well recommended activity. For something more unusual, sign up for a tour of the DMZ in the morning - just outside the capital. Incheon also has nice temples and outlying islands beckoning to be explored! Down south, Busan is a major port city known for its yearly film festival. Enjoy scores of beaches with lovely mountain backdrops. Gyeongu lays nearby, a Heritage site brimming with ancient tombs, cultural artifacts and temples.
